Effects of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) on assertiveness and interpersonal anxiety of university students with interpersonal anxiety
The purpose of this study was to explore effects of acceptance-commitment therapy on assertiveness and interpersonal anxiety of university students with interpersonal anxiety. Twelve students are selected of three hundred thirty students who completed an assertiveness sacle and a social anxiety scale, and finally six students were assigned to an experiment group and the others to a control group.
The Development and Effects of Group Counseling Program to Promote the Career Preparation Behavior Based on Acceptance-Commitment Therapy for Soldiers
The purpose of this study was to provide applicability of group counseling programs based on acceptance-commitment therapy to promote soldiers’ career preparation behavior and experiential evidence. The developed program was based on ACT(Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) theory and the mode of group counseling program consisted of 8 sessions of 90 minutes for each session. 24 soldiers were randomly assigned to 2 groups of 12.

Effects of acceptance and commitment therapy on pain, pain interference, and life satisfaction for the elderly people with chronic pain
본 연구에서는 수용전념치료(ACT)를 노인들의 만성통증에 적용하여 통증과 통증간섭, 삶의 만족도에 대한 치료효과를 검증하였다. 퇴행성 질환으로 만성통증을 호소하는 65세 이상의 노인들을 대상으로, 치료집단에는 ACT 집단 프로그램, 통제집단에는 건강교육을 총 8회기로 진행하였다. 결과분석에는 치료집단 25명과 통제집단 27명으로 총 52명의 자료를 사용하였다. 그 결과, 건강교육에 비해 ACT 프로그램은 통증과 통증간섭을 유의미하게 감소시켰으며 매개변인으로 가정한 불안과 심리적 경직성을 변화시키는 데 효과적이었다. 그러나 통증 및 통증간섭 감소에 대한 불안과 심리적 경직성 변화의 매개효과는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 만성통증 노인에 대한 ACT의 효과를 검증한 연구라는 점에서 의의가 있다.
Effects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) on Complex PTSD Symptoms, Acceptance, and Post-traumatic Growth of College Students with Childhood Emotional Abuse
본 연구는 수용 전념 치료(Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; ACT)가 정서적 학대 경험이 있는 대학생의 복합 PTSD 증상, 수용 및 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 4년제 대학교 대학생 450명을 대상으로 복합 PTSD 증상 척도, 수용 척도, 외상 후 성장 척도를 실시하였고, 이를 토대로 14명의 참가자를 선정하였다. 7명은 수용전념치료 집단에, 7명은 통제 집단에 할당하였다. 수용 전념 치료 프로그램은 주 2회, 회기 당 100분씩 총 8회기의 프로그램을 진행하였으며, 통제집단에는 어떠한 처치도 시행하지 않았다. 프로그램 종료 후 사후 검사와 6주 뒤 추적 검사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 통제 집단에 비해 수용전념치료(ACT) 집단에서 치료 프로그램 종료 후 복합 PTSD 증상이 유의하게 감소하였고, 수용과 외상 후 성장은 유의하게 증가되었다. 각각의 수준은 추적 검사까지 유지되었다.

본 연구는 수영전념치료(ACT)의 6가지 핵심 치료 과정이 평가염려 완벽주의의 자기비난과 이분법적 사고를 감소시키고, 최종적으로 우울까지 감소시킬 수 있다는 가설을 세우고 이를 검증하고자 하였다. 4년제 대학에 다니고 있는 대학생 400명 중 평가염려 완벽주의와 우울이 높고 사전면담을 통해 프로그램 참여에 동의한 22명을 최종적으로 선별하였다. 참가자들은 무작위로 수용전념치료 집단과 통제집단에 각각 11명씩 할당되었다. 수용전념치료 집단에는 총 8회기의 수용전념치료 프로그램을 진행 하였으며, 통제집단에는 어떠한 처치도 행해지지 않았다. 수용전념치료 집단과 통제집단은 프로그램 전, 프로그램이 종료되는 시점 및 프로그램 종결 6주 후에 평가염려 완벽주의, 자기비난, 이분법적 사고, 우울, 수용행동에 대한 질문지에 응답하였다.

Objectives:Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) was recently introduced to the treatment of the obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Major core components of ACT can be effectively applied to OCD treatment. Cognitive defusion can make to reduce anxiety related to obsessional thought by observing and flowing the thoughts in a non-judgemental manner. Value-based commitment can be helpful to confront situations rather than experiential avoidance.
