Attached is a ppt & handout I did as an assignment during my final year undergraduate psych study. There's also a video role play of the chessboard metaphor which I've posted on YouTube (search by title "chessboard metaphor"). These materials were designed to briefly introduce other students (with no knowledge of ACT or RFT) to the use of metaphor in ACT as a psychotherapeutic technique. I've used material from this website extensively and hope I've acknowledged those sources adequately. I am sooooo grateful for the wealth of material that is available here!
