Growing research about ACT demonstrates its efficacy for a wide range of diagnoses and life problems. It helps people accept their internal experiences while moving towards the life they value.
At this experiential workshop you will establish a foundational understanding of Psychological Flexibility, develop skills for using ACT and learn about Relational Frame Theory (RFT).
Over the two days you will learn how to:
Motivational Interviewing Workshop (2-day; 12 CEs; virtual zoom)

March 8th and 22nd, 2024
10:00 am - 4:30 pm EST, with a 30-minute break for lunch
Registration also includes four, 60-minute, group consultation sessions with MI experts to be completed after the workshop to help attendees implement MI with their own clients.

Introduction to Compassion Focused Therapy
For those of you who are interested in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), a 4-day online introduction training is coming up on January 6. CFT is a psychotherapy approach founded and published in 2010 by British psychologist Paul Gilbert. This approach integrates knowledge and techniques from Western psychological studies, such as attachment theory, evolutionary psychology, and neuroscience, with Buddhist philosophy and mind and somatic practices from the East.
