Additional Information: I saw an interesting conversation between Dr. Stephen Porges and Dr. Steven Hays, and it was fascinating. I love the fundamental principals in act and often incorporate the Values, self-as-context, Mindfulness, Unhooking from thoughts, and Acceptance, and moving towards vs. away from our goals and values. All of ACT (as well as a general use of RFT to explain the idea of the human ability to connect virtually anything to something in themselves, because of the use of language, and including triggers).
