ACT/CBS Background and Training: I am an HCPC registered Counselling and Occupational Psychologist; EMDR Europe Accredited Consultant & Clinical Supervisor and have been an independent consultant Chartered psychologist since 2003. I am the Director of Vita Psychology Ltd a company which specialises in providing ACT therapy to help individuals regain their lives after being impacted upon by stress, anxiety, depression, injury or trauma. I enjoy working using a collaborative approach in a safe, calm environment with adults, young adults and also older teenagers. I offer short to medium-term work. I have worked in the NHS services with Adults and young Adults (severe and enduring mental health) e.g. depression, anxiety, self-harm, trauma,etc. providing medium to long-term therapy. My training in ACT includes: ACT for Young People with Louise Hayes; ACT for Shame and Criticism with Jason Luoma and Jenna Lejeune; ACT for Depression and Anxiety with Russ Harris;
Introduction to ACT with Dr Joe Oliver. I am continually attending ACT training courses to offer clients the best ACT therapy.
