ACT/CBS Background and Training: I was initially exposed to ACT in my doctoral degree at Deakin University. I gained an interest in the approach and have been developing my skills and knowledge of ACT as it applies to my areas of work (mainly pain management, chronic illness and ADHD) and in my life more broadly. I have attended ACT seminars and workshops, read books, and have enjoyed listening to the ACT in Context podcast series provided by ACBS.
