ACT/CBS Background and Training: I attended a week long training with Dr. Robyn Walser in June 2009. Following that, I was supervised weekly utilizing recorded sessions for 6 months by another approved ACT therapist. I continue to educate myself and broaden my comfort level and expertise with the ACT model. In September 2013 I attended a 4 day ACT Boot Camp which I found very enriching.

Additional Information: I have continued to be amazed by the effectiveness of ACT w/difficult chronically depressed clients and those who have a long history of struggle with anxiety. In addition, I have found ACT to be very rewarding when working w/couples as it removes the blaming and finger pointing that so often blocks genuine progress.
