Why do we exist? Why is it that some two dozen cosmological constants (e.g., the weight of an electron, the knifes edge magnitude of the energy density of the vacuum or "negative gravity"...) are so finely tuned that they allow for the evolution of life? Why does String Theory postulate 10^500+ possible different spacetime geometries -- each arising from unique characterizations of the vibration state of the elementary particles in nature -- in which the evolution of life is either possible or not possible?
The question here is "How do these great engines of cosmological variation and evolutionary potential entangle with human biology, cognition and ...RFT?" In the context of this incredibly huge potential for variation, how are we to explore the debth and breadth of RFT as a model for human uniqueness and capability within such an impossible large context? To do so we need identify what process is acting in common within and across the evolution of the ours and all possible cosmoses. That common process or action - in the evolution of the the greater universe in general, of our observable pocket of that universe specifically, and within our even smaller pocket of a contained matabolism acting in a contained and fragile biosphere (context) - is combination and recombination and the potential for variation of structure that results.
The dozen or so known cosmological constants are understood to have combined and recombined to produce the physics that allows for our existence. That physics allows for the emergent chemistry and emergent biochemistry that allows for our existence. That biochemistry allowed for the emergent properties of DNA that, through recombinative potential, allows for the existence and emergent properties of life, all life, in all of its variation.
We see the same elemental basis and potential for complexity and variation within RFT (mutual entailment and combinatorial mutually entailmet) which establish the potential for subsequent levels of emergent behavioral complexity. Each level of our cognitive and behavioral complexity is emergent from a lower level of entailments, entailments of entailments, and networks of entailed networks (even if they are to be understood as abstract tacts, intravebals and autoclitics influenced by complex arrangements of stimulus control). The common process throughout spacetime, and which ties us to our origin and potential, is base elements combining and recombining within a context that determines the limit and variety of those recombinations. We just happen to be lucky enough to have evolved in a universe that is finely tuned to the evolution of our life and our potential to understand how incredibly precious we are.
