Additional Information: Research examining the ways in which ACT can help us to understand and influence workplace health and performance. Major projects have included the application of ACT-focussed stress-management interventions to improving client-focussed attitudes and burnout in the human services, as well as the development of new methods to assess a contextual process, known as psychological flexibility, in the workplace. A more recent line of research involves examining the role of psychological flexibility in the personal and professional experiences of marginalised social groups (particularly gender and sexual minority groups).
