World Conference Submission Discussion

The Social Work SIG is sponsoring an hour long discussion for those interested in submitting a proposal for the world conference in NOLA 2025 and beyond.  Join Matt Boone, Sarah Cheney and Staci Martin as they share their experiences and as we review various submission types.  This is also an open invitation for other presenters to attend and contribute.  The more the merrier!

We are excited to announce the continuation of our “Dissemination and Implementation of RFT in Behavior Analysis” series, where we will explore the practical applications and advancements of relational frame theory within the field of behavior analysis. Our next presenter for this series will be Dr. Albert Malkin, who will share insights from his research, Behavior Analysts’ Relationship to Relating Relations: A Survey on Perceptions, Acceptability, Knowledge, and Capacity for Derived Stimulus Relations Research and Practice.

Article discussion (RFT SIG)

The next RFT "just getting started" article review/discussion will be taking place on Tuesday, Sept 3rd from 9:00-10:30am Pacific Time (PDT).

During this meeting we will be reviewing/discussing the following article:

SIG monthly meeting (Sport, Health, and Human Performance SIG)

Dr. Peter Haberl was the former senior sport psychologist for the United States Olympic Committee for nearly 25 years prior to launching his consulting services. Through the USOC, he provided sport psychology services at nine Olympic Games to medal winning teams and athletes. In addition to his private coaching, he still provides individual and team consultations and counseling sessions to various Olympic national teams and athletes.
