What the Function? Understanding Behavior in Context when Working with Neurodivergent Adults - A Social Work SIG Sponsored Event

Abstract

Autistic and ADHDer adults have higher rates of trauma, mental health problems, and chronic illness. As a result, large numbers of diagnosed and undiagnosed neurodivergent adults are presenting for therapy, often having accumulated several misdiagnoses before their neurodivergence is identified. 

World Conference Submission Discussion

The Social Work SIG is sponsoring an hour long discussion for those interested in submitting a proposal for the world conference in NOLA 2025 and beyond.  Join Matt Boone, Sarah Cheney and Staci Martin as they share their experiences and as we review various submission types.  This is also an open invitation for other presenters to attend and contribute.  The more the merrier!
