Through dozens of clinical visitors, nursing students and quite a few pre-doctoral clinical psychology interns Dr. Polk and his colleagues have developed some rather quick ways to explain and then train ACT using step-by-step lessons. During Lesson 1 you will quickly learn how to start using ACT and developing one of the most important ACT skills, your Unconditional Curiosity. If you want, you can always come back and take more lessons later.

During Lesson 1 you will learn about the history of this training, including it’s philosophical and theoretical underpinnings. While Lesson 1 is easy to implement and practice, there is also lot going on “behind the scenes” establishing the core building blocks for ACT therapy. In other words, Lesson 1 is simple, but infinitely expandable.

During Lesson 1 you will learn:

• Rapidly setting up the ACT therapeutic process
• Establishing Rapport
• Getting 100% Homework Compliance
• Working on Values
• Developing Unconditional Curiosity

Don’t hesitate to ask me questions regarding this training via email. kevin@drkevinpolk.com

Take care,

Kevin
