The ACBS Board of Directors has voted to partner with The Evolution Institute.
The mission of the Evolution Institute is to use evolutionary science to improve the human condition and solve real-world problems – bringing together experts from various fields to inform public policy with the latest research.
In broad terms, CBS focuses on how organisms adapt to their changing contexts – so the alliance with evolutionary science is a natural one. Signs of the emerging relationship between CBS and evolutionary science can be found throughout ACBS – from articles featured in first issue of JCBS, to the founding of the EvoSSIG. What’s more, experts in evolution such as David Sloan Wilson and Eva Jablonka are participating in ACBS World Conferences.
