Within 6 months of the conference, please provide a short narrative and some additional information that highlights your experience at the conference and its impact upon return back home. As we try to make Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) more visible, please take into consideration that materials will be shared on our website, ACBS newsletter and internally as feedback to the committee. We are constantly thinking how to bring DEI to the forefront of our organization and suspect that one way is to talk about what is already happening. We are very excited about your contribution to this effort. Please note that sending implies that you consent to having your materials made public to the community. Let’s see those faces and the work of our Scholars!
Please send us a short narrative of what receiving the Scholarship afforded you (1-2pgs) or complete the form below AND possibly share one or more of the following as needed to highlight your experience and impact post conference:
Here are some examples of the type of submissions the committee would like to see;
• pictures of experiences at the conference and why they are meaningful (not necessarily people)
• potential collaborations or
• publication/scholarly papers that come out of this experience
• pictures of a new professional relationship
• slides of a presentation or
• narrative of a talk about ACBS or contextual perspective (even better if related to DEI) that you may have done in your country/community upon return
• desires for participation/volunteer opportunities
• All languages are welcome - English is preferred, but not a requirement (although we may ask about meaning if we can’t find a translator)
