Being the interventions with psychosocial programs those that can intervene in a majority way on the population, to have a greater effect on the prevention and assistance with the patients that present this chronic disease. Thus, the investigations in mindfulness show a great evidence of effectiveness on these patients, with the MBSR program in the reduction of the symptoms of anxiety and depression, perceived stress, blood pressure and BMI in patients with cardiovascular diseases, while the MBCT offers new perspectives in the management of this type of patients in relation to their disease.
