Date: September 17, 2025
Time: 9:00–10:00 AM MST
Location: Join Zoom Meeting
Meeting ID: 977 0650 3639
Passcode: 886277
Presenter: Dr. Rogério Pinto, University of Michigan School of Social Work

We are excited to continue our Dissemination and Implementation of RFT in Behavior Analysis series with Dr. Rogério Pinto. In this session, Dr. Pinto will provide an introduction to dissemination and implementation (D&I) models for evidence-based practices, drawing from his article Community engagement in dissemination and implementation models: A narrative review. He will also bring his research to life by sharing examples from his work in community engagement.

Dr. Pinto serves as Professor at the University of Michigan School of Social Work, where his research examines ways to improve access to social and health services. His work investigates strategies for making HIV and drug-use prevention and care more accessible through both cognitive/behavioral and social transformational interventions. Across these efforts, he emphasizes cultural responsiveness, equity, and integrity in how evidence-based practices are delivered in community settings.

This event is meant to be a conversation. After his introduction into D&I models, Dr. Pinto will open the floor for discussion and questions, inviting participants to consider how principles of dissemination and implementation might guide their practices more effectively.

Who should attend?
This session welcomes practitioners, researchers, and students across fields such as social work, psychology, behavior analysis, and education who are interested in evidence-based practice and systems change.
