Presenter
Dr. Moire Stevenson
I’ve been a nature lover my entire life and a clinical psychologist for over a decade. I value caring for the therapist as they learn by providing rich training experiences that combine learning with processing and practicing new techniques in natural settings that nourish the therapist.

I am the owner and director of Stevenson Psychology and Mindfulness Outdoors. I also work as a Pediatric Psychologist at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology Research and Intervention from the University of Montreal in 2015. Before that, I completed a combined honours degree in Biology and Biochemistry at Dalhousie University.

I have always been curious about the natural world and the human mind. In 2021, I combined these interests by creating Mindfulness Outdoors, a wellness-based outdoors program offering accessible therapeutic and nature-based events and activities.

Over the past 8 years, I have become increasingly interested in training students, interns and other professionals. I am a recognized clinical supervisor with the Ordre des Psychologues du Quebec and I run several training programs accredited by various organizations (including the Ordre des Psychologues du Quebec, and the Canadian Psychological Association). I also teach and supervise with the Montreal Therapy Centre.

I work with various organizations in both the public and private sectors providing workshops on mindfulness, ecotherapy and wellbeing as well as sitting on the Board of Directors for the Vivago Foundation, and on the Advisory Board for Scattered.
