ACT/CBS Background and Training: I'm an ACBS peer-reviewed ACT Trainer. I've been reading ACT literature for about 20 years. In 2009, I took a graduate level ACT course with Steve Hayes at UNR. After that, I participated in a variety of ACT workshops at ACBS and through other organizations. I have participated in multiple on-going online FAP and CBS/FAP training groups as well. I have been leading ACT workshops since 2009 for professionals, parents, couples, and children and I have been teaching ACT and RFT to masters and doctoral learners since 2013.
ACT/CBS Experience: I'm a peer-reviewed ACT trainer. I conduct ACTrainings for leadership and stress reduction in organizations. I also conduct ACTrainings for college students, parents, BCBAs, and children with high functioning autism.
Additional Information: I am faculty in a master's program in professional behavior analysis. I am dedicated to bringing CBS, ACT, and RFT to the behavior analytic community. I also work in human service organizations with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs), and have conducted ACT/RFT interventions with individuals with IDDs who exhibit severe challenging behaviors. I conduct ACT trainings for health & wellness, communication, and leadership in organizations. A current interest is ABA ACT functional analysis.
