ACT/CBS Background and Training: My journey with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) began nearly 10 years ago, sparked by a mix of curiosity and a serendipitous interest. As I explored ACT further, I became increasingly captivated by its principles and began seeking out more knowledge. My wife and I traveled extensively to attend workshops, boot camps, and training sessions led by ACT pioneers. We immersed ourselves in numerous book translations, trainings, and supervisions to deepen our understanding of the model.
Since 2015, I have been applying ACT clinically in my private practice, working with a diverse range of individuals and clinical presentations. Over the years, I have gained invaluable experience using ACT in various contexts. Since 2017, I’ve also had the privilege of leading workshops on ACT and offering training and consultation within my private practice.
