ACT/CBS Background and Training: In 2017, I received my PhD from the University of Nevada Reno (UNR) where I received clinical supervision from Victoria Follette and Steven Hayes in the delivery of ACT to diverse clients in a variety of clinical settings. My dissertation was an experimental analysis of the values component of ACT. For more than seven years I was the PTSD/SUD Co-occurring Disorders Psychologist at the Veterans Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin USA where I provided therapy for issues related to trauma/complex trauma, substance use, sleep problems, and anxiety. I am now located at the Boreal Clinic in Whitehorse, YT Canada where I deliver evidence-based psychotherapies, including ACT, to adults struggling with a range of concerns.
