ACT/CBS Background and Training: My degree in Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine had a strong focus in mindfulness. I have read all the major texts on ACT, including Act in Practice: Case Conceptualization (Bach & Moran, 2008) and ACT for Anxiety Disorders (Eifert & Forsyth, 2005). I attended a workshop presented by Patricia Bach at the University of Central Florida in December 2012. I attended an ACT Boot Camp with Steve Hayes and Kelly Wilson in Orlando in September 2013, and ACT II training in 2016.
ACT/CBS Experience: I work with children, families, couples, and individuals to improve quality of relationships and of life.
Additional Information: I hold Masters degrees are in Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine and Nutrition Education, and a Doctoral degree in Special Education with a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and licensed provider of HeartMath. My work with children and adults with special needs and their parents, anxiety, and relationship challenges using attachment-focused ACT.
