ACT/CBS Experience: Over ten years of applying ACT techniques in individual, couples, and group settings.
Additional Information: I am also excited about ACT's fellow traveller DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapty) and often integrate those techniques in my approach. I have completed the Gottman Method Couples Counseling Level 3 and am working on my final certification. I integrate that with ACT and EFT for couples work.

I’m a counselor, writer, and yoga teacher. I love the arts, and spend most of my free time enjoying books, movies, theater, dance, and crafting. My favorite way to unwind is to spend time with my partner and/or cats. I love to eat and cook, and enjoy making new dishes or exploring new restaurants with friends.

I approach therapy as a collaborative process and respect the guest as an expert in his or her own life, so compassionate listening is first and foremost for me. I love Acceptance Commitment Therapy and mindfulness. Seeing an individual find meaning and purpose in a challenging situation is amazing and humbling.
