ACT/CBS Background and Training: I have been trained and exposed to ACT theories, principles, research, and application in both individual and group therapeutic contexts for over ten years. My training institution has several ACT trained supervisors and my dissertation chair was trained in ACT, DBT, and FAP. Additionally, I have over ten years of experience providing DBT informed therapy, and have also received training in utilizing Integrative Behavior Couples Therapy (IBCT) in marital and couple's therapy. My therapy approach is always guided by the best available evidence and collaboratively decided in concert with my clients; my goal is to help my clients overcome their challenges and build a life worth living.
ACT/CBS Experience: Applied ACT as a full therapeutic modality with depression, anxiety, and PTSD, and used ACT-informed interventions to supplement my work using DBT and EXRP. Co-facilitated an ACT therapy group targeting depression in a veteran population.
Additional Information: I encourage any potential clients to take advantage of a free 15 minute consultation call to discuss whether I might be a good fit for your needs.
Additionally, I do provide supervision for TLLPs, DLLPs, and LLPs who are in need. If you are a limited license psychologist in need of supervision, please feel free to reach out to discuss how I might be able to help.
