ACT/CBS Background and Training: I was introduced to ACT in 2008. I began reading many ACT texts and research articles, and found the more I learned, the more my interest grew. I have attended a two-day Steven Hayes ACT Workshop and a two-day ACT for OCD Workshop run by Michael Twohig. I work as a staff therapist at the OCD Institute at McLean Hospital where I provide both individual and group ACT for OCD. I am a founding and board member of the New England ACBS Chapter. I was also involved in a research study comparing different models of exposure therapy (one of them being an ACT model).
