ACT/CBS Background and Training: At first, I started my therapeutic training in CBT and MI. Then I got interested in ACT. I began with reading a lot of ACT literature and decided that this is what I want to do. In 2011, I attended workshop with Matthew McKay and Patricia Zurita Ona at the IX World Conference in Parma, in March 2012 Introduction to ACT with Steven Hayes in Berlin and in June 2012 ACT and FAP workshop with Jonathan Kanter in Utrecht, FAP pre-conference workshop with Mavis Tsai and Bob Kohlenberg and workshops during XI WorldCon in Sydney, 2013.
I was co-leading co-leading ACT workshops: 2-days ACT workshop Psychotherapy Center “Integral”, Warsaw, Poland, 01.2012;1-day ACT workshop, University of Humanities and Social Sciences (SWPS), Warsaw, Poland, 01.2013; workshop on Loving Kindness in clinical settings, Sydney, 2013 at the WorldCon.
Now I'm constantly trying to improve my therapeutic skills and practice contextual behavioral science in my work (and life). I've obtained doctoral degree at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw, 2017.
