ACT/CBS Background and Training: My doctoral project is focused on moral injury and in November 2023 I began studying ACT as a means to treat moral injury. To date, I have read many publications by Steve Hayes and Russ Harris and am currently engaging the ACT Immersion training provided by Steve Hayes via Praxis. ACT has become the main therapeutic modality that I utilizing in my work as a RN Psychotherapist.

Additional Information: I work primarily as a RN Psychotherapist at Base Borden in Ontario, Canada. I also teach counselling courses with Georgian College. I am about to enter the final term of my doctoral studies with the doctor of counselling and psychotherapy program with Yorkville University. I retired from the Canadian military in 2021 after just over 22 years of service. I do not currently work in private practice. I am a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario.
