Additional Information: Whether starting a new journey or taking a different path, I am here to walk with you. I am a licensed psychologist devoted to working with children, teens, parents, and pregnant and postpartum moms. I specialize in treating anxiety and OCD in children, teens, families, and pregnant and postpartum moms. I love to see clients and families become stronger and more resilient to stresses and uncertainties of life. I often work with client's struggling with intense worries, intrusive thoughts and obsessions, panic, and anxiety, helping them to feel better, more confident, and to develop healthy ways to manage difficult emotions and stressful experiences. In my work with children and teens, I partner with parents to develop strategies for managing behavior and healing their relationship with their child, increasing positive interactions and reducing conflict. Childhood is a brief period in one’s life and I am passionate about helping families to enjoy their time together. I also provide Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) parent coaching to families with young children and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) for parents of children struggling with anxiety and OCD. My goal with families is to promote resilience, strengthen parent-child bonds, and to provide a supportive space to heal and grow. I work collaboratively with families to tailor interventions to a family’s specific needs, developmental considerations, and evidence basis for treatment. With children, I often use play-based approaches to develop a trusting relationship, facilitate self-expression, create a nurturing environment, and achieve therapy goals. Parents are frequently included and I often incorporate parent coaching to improve relationships, reduce conflict, and build parenting skills. I also sub-specialize in working with expectant and postpartum mothers as they transition into motherhood. As a mother of two, I am passionate about my work with moms. I have earned and maintain certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International (PSI).
