ACT/CBS Background and Training: My clinical interests include the application of ACT for treatment of anxiety, depression, habit disorders, stress-related conditions, as well as stress management and optimal performance. My philosophy of care focuses on attending to each client's mental, physical and spiritual well-being and the unique socio-cultural context of each individual’s life. I have been practicing from an ACT-centered approach since 2005.
I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Arizona State University. I am a member of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science and American Psychological Association (Divisions 17 & 45).

My clinical training experience includes a predoctoral internship at the Center for Multicultural Training in Psychology at Boston Medical Center/Boston University School of Medicine and a postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Psychology in the Behavioral Medicine Program at Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School. My published works have focused on multicultural psychology, social justice in mental health, ethnic identity, and the experiences of individuals with disabilities.
