ACT/CBS Background and Training: My ACT training began with formal coursework and participation in ACT case conferences during my graduate studies. Since then, I have continued to expand my expertise through ongoing education, consultation groups, and advanced trainings on applying ACT to a variety of concerns. I stay up to date with the latest research, books, and clinical developments, ensuring that I integrate ACT principles effectively into my work to help clients build psychological flexibility and live in alignment with their values.
Additional Information: ACT has always felt intuitive to me—its emphasis on acceptance, values, and psychological flexibility aligns naturally with how I approach therapy. I also use my own values to influence the way I practice. My practice is neurodivergent-affirming, fat-positive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and committed to dismantling ableism and influence of white supremacy in mental health care. I believe therapy should be a space where clients feel understood, empowered, and free from judgment, which is why my practice is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and flexibility to meet each person’s unique needs. I specialize in working with chronic illness, ADHD, trauma, and women’s health, integrating ACT with other evidence-based approaches to help clients build meaningful lives. If you're looking for therapy that feels both human and effective, I’d love to connect!
