Strategies of Research Applicable to On-line Clinical Intervention

My purposes in this paper are to discuss the need for research in the on-line clinical environment, to analyze the nature of the intervention questions we need answered, to identify the types of research methodologies appropriate to the task, and, finally, to relate this to assessment research. My main point will be that we have the tools available to build a scientific foundation from within the clinical environment itself.
