ACBS has some exciting news! In consultation with the DEI and DN committees, ACBS has recently contracted to work with a team of JEDI consultants. ACBS is an organization of people from a diverse range of professional and cultural groups, and growing fast. We believe that if ACBS is to keep pace with members and their needs, we must proactively assess and address obstacles to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI).
The project will be a collaboration between ACBS and our JEDI consulting team, and it will begin in September 2022. We need people from within ACBS to help move this work forward. We will need members who are willing to work alongside our consultants at every step of the way. While we anticipate that existing committees will be integral in this process, we will make the most of this opportunity if we can encourage new volunteers dedicated to helping move this process forward.
