ACBS Members Code of Conduct
The Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS) is dedicated to the alleviation of human suffering and the advancement of human well-being through research and practice grounded in contextual behavioral science. To achieve our vision, ACBS has various outlets to disseminate research and training, including scientific conferences and events, a scientific journal, special interest groups (SIGs), local chapters, and multiple online forums.
ACBS has instituted bylaws that encourage values-based interactions, based on working in a collegial, open, generous, self-aware, non-discriminatory, and mutually supportive way.
The following Members Code of Conduct is provided to establish a positive environment for ACBS members. The Code consists of seven commitments for members with the intention to promote the desired culture and spirit of ACBS. The Code helps members understand their ethical responsibilities as members of ACBS as they interact across various ACBS contexts, including face-to-face and digital interactions (most commonly conferences, SIGs, Chapters, Affiliates, the ACBS Board, Committees, ACBS email lists and social media platforms).
