We are really pleased to invite the guest speaker, Timothy Leroux MBA for our ACBS SHHP SIG monthly meeting called "Contextually Speaking" on August 6 at 10 am EST.
A retired lieutenant colonel, Tim served in the U.S. Army as an Apache Attack Helicopter Pilot, Operations Officer, Safety Officer, and Unit Commander for more than 20 years and retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
He received numerous citations and commendations for achievement and service.
I mean, he is a battle-scarred veteran.
He will focus on the importance as a leader of maintaining composure under stressful circumstances--Psychological flexibility.
He will share anecdotal examples from his military and leadership experience where such flexibility came into play this time.
Actually, he's not an ACT-informed person, but his behavioral examples under stressful circumstances perfectly demonstrates and exemplifies psychological flexibility.
So his presentation will definitely attract a lot of attention from all of you.
