Topic: "Analysis of the Relationship Between the Concept of "Self" and "Values" based on Relational Density Theory"
Abstract: This study explores the relational networks of "Self" and "Values" through the lens ofRelational Density Theory (RDT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). UsingMultidimensional Scaling (MDS), we analyzed the structural characteristics—volume, density, and mass—of these networks. Data from a college student sample (N=81) and a clinical case study indicate that the integration of the "Present Self" into a large, dense relational cluster is associated with higher value-oriented awareness.

Topic: ”Exploring the role of learning history on transformation of stimulus function”
Abstract: Advances in Relational Frame Theory suggests that transformation of stimulus function underlies many complex forms of human suffering. Our research aims to push this a little towards actual application by trying to identify the variables that may determine the outcome, when multiple competing transformations occur simultaneously. This is key because the same stimulus may evoke aversive/avoidant or appetitive/approach response and as practitioners, understanding the precise variables that govern this allows us to modify them directly. We will present two experiments focusing on the role of history as one such potential variable and its clinical implications.
