Increase your efficacy and impact when time with clients is limited
Build your mastery in FACT at a supportive, hands-on training in Coastal Connecticut
The FACT Summer Intensive is a 5-day, retreat-style training on focused acceptance and commitment therapy.
Taking place along the beautiful New England coast in Westbrook, Connecticut, September 8–12, this unique learning experience is limited to a small group of participants and focuses heavily on hands-on practice supervised by premier FACT experts Dr. Kirk Strosahl, Dr. Patti Robinson, and Thomas Gustavsson, MSC.
Focused acceptance and commitment therapy, or FACT, was created to distill the wisdom of acceptance and commitment therapy for use in brief interventions, making it easier to catalyze big change even when time with clients is limited.
And this 5-day event is designed to provide the “fluency” training you need to build skills quickly and translate knowledge of the model into real-world impact. Didactic instruction will be limited and targeted, designed to lay a foundation for extensive practice.
Thanks to its small group size, the training offers a tight-knit community environment that makes practice fun and gives you a chance to connect even more deeply with like-minded professionals.
At the end of the 5 days, you’ll feel exponentially more confident in your ability to briefly and effectively intervene with a wide range of problems.
You can earn up to 30 CE hours at this unique event while building your proficiency in the FACT model.
In addition to immersive training sessions, you’ll also have the opportunity to join restorative daily yoga classes and enjoy scenic ocean views right outside the training venue.
This is your chance to step out of your usual schedule and immerse yourself in a powerful therapeutic model while being part of a supportive training community.
