ACT/CBS Background and Training: I first learned of ACT when taking a pre-convention workshop at AABT/ABCT (around 2001) on GAD, taught by Thomas Borkovec. I attended a one day introductory pre-covention workshop at AABT/ABCT (about 2002) taught by S. Hayes. I have also been attending ACT related symposia and related ACT related articles and books since then. I teach and use ACT in my role as a therapist for the past 20+ years.
