Additional Information: I'm a licensed professional counselor (LPC) licensed in Virginia and Washington DC with 10 years of clinical experience providing individual and group therapy in various clinical settings, including partial hospitalization, crisis stabilization, and outpatient private practice. I received my initial training in DBT and CBT modalities and am now seeking seeking further learning and professional development opportunities within the ACT community. I incorporate ACT into my own life and my work with clients. I firmly believe in the benefit of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help individuals experience the pain and joy that it is to be human and work with clients to help them meet life's difficulties with self-compassion, understanding, and courage.
