ACT/CBS Background and Training: I have been studying acceptance-based theory and treatment since graduate school. Training includes numerous books and articles, various training workshops including a 2-day clinical intervention workshop by Steve Hayes and a 4-day ACT and yoga retreat led by Kelly Wilson, as well as supervision in ACT on fellowship. I have been incorporating acceptance-based concepts and treatments in my clinical work since 2008 and also conduct research in this area.
