ACT/CBS Background and Training: I have been formally trained in ACT, attended seminars with Russ Harris and Stephen Hayes, an active member of the SoCal Chapter of ACBS, as well as participate in ACT centric consultation groups. I've obtained supervised experience in the provision of ACT (individual and group psychotherapy) as well as provide supervision and trainings to clinicians from an ACT lens at a community-based outpatient clinic, where I continue to practice Acceptance-Commitment Therapy (ACT) as my primary therapeutic modality as well as in my private practice. I am also formally trained in Cognitive Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused treatment Cognitive Processing and Prolonged Exposure (CPT & PE), CBT-E for Eating Disorders, Recovery Oriented Therapy for Psychosis (CT-R), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and memory reconsolidation.
