ACT/CBS Background and Training: I learned about ACT as an undergraduate studying psychology at the University of Nevada, Reno and began using ACT with clients during graduate school. I attended ACT Boot Camp in February 2016 and began implementing it in my clinical work ever since. I have co-led ACT groups, including one for trauma. I have also been trained in DBT and interpersonal process therapy. I have found contextual behaviorism has been incredibly transformative in my work.
