ACT/CBS Background and Training: I received invaluable experiential training in process-based ACT as a graduate student and clinical intern through the VA Greater Los Angeles and VA Palo Alto Healthcare Systems. I continued my training as a postdoctoral fellow in trauma recovery at the Durham VA Healthcare System before working as the Associate Director of the UT Psychological Clinic at the University of Tennessee, where I helped train graduate students learning to provide evidence-based treatments. I now run a private practice in Los Angeles, California called Snapdragon Psychology, where I continue to practice ACT and train licensed providers and trainees across mental health disciplines in ACT, evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapies more broadly, and the science and practice of clinical supervision. I have been practicing ACT since 2014.
ACT/CBS Experience: ACT is the primary therapeutic modality that I use in my practice, and I also supervise and train others interested in learning ACT.
