East Texas Contextual Behavioral Science Lab (ETX-CBS)

The ETX-CBS lab focuses on the intersection between mental health and technology from a contextual behavioral science framework. The lab is located within the University of Texas at Tyler, which has a new Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology as well as a Master's program which prepares trainees for LPA licensure in Texas. The program is working on pursuing APA accreditation and has been approved for a site visit. ETX-CBS is led by Dr. Olga V. Berkout. Dr. Berkout received her Ph.D. at the University of Mississippi and completed her internship at the University of Vermont, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She is an assistant professor within the Clinical Psychology program at the University of Texas at Tyler and a list of her current publications may be found on her Google Scholar profile
