ACBS Foundation Grant Recipients

The ACBS Foundation continues to support innovative projects that advance contextual behavioral science while addressing some of today’s most pressing social and mental health challenges. This year’s awardees are leading impactful work focused on social connection, global equity, caregiver resilience, trauma recovery, and the prevention of intimate partner violence.

Please join us in celebrating:

  • Sara Robayo and collaborators, recipients of the Aaron S. Luoma Fund for Global Equity, for their work developing and evaluating CONECTADES, a culturally responsive program designed to foster social connection among Colombian Trans and Gender Non-Conforming individuals.
  • Rocco Catrone and colleagues, recipients of an ACBS Foundation Grant, for their project integrating ACT and Behavioral Skills Training to support Latine caregivers of children with developmental disabilities.
    Wesley Malvini and Daniel Maitland, recipients of a Robert J. Kohlenberg Research Award, for their study examining Awareness, Courage, and Love (ACL) processes, alcohol use, and psychological intimate partner violence among college students.
  • Logan Mattingly, recipient of a Robert J. Kohlenberg Research Award, for TraumACL, a pilot intervention exploring how social connection and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy principles can support adult survivors of childhood trauma.
