Overview:
This webinar will focus on the ACT process of Self-as-context (SAC) and how to implement this into clinical practice. SAC is the process of ACT where clients are able to observe their psychological struggles without becoming entangled with them. During this webinar, I will discuss ACT, SAC, the subcomponents of SAC, exercises/metaphors that can be used in interactions with clients to facilitate SAC, and different ways to measure SAC.
Learning outcomes:
1. Gain more understanding of Self-as-context
2. Learn ways to explain SAC to clients in layman's terms
3. Learn SAC exercises to practice with clients
4. Learn ways to measure SAC, especially for those who practice Measurement Base Care with clients
