Description:
This 85-minute case consultation provides an information packed, lively discourse in critical thinking and nuanced application of assessment and treatment in response to attendees’ case presentations. PACT Couple therapy integrates developmental theories (neurobiology, arousal regulation, and attachment). It integrates multiple therapeutic approaches and techniques (structural/strategic family systems, object relations, somatic tracking of face and body, psychodrama/Gestalt, informal trance, recognition science, affective neuroscience, and more). Make better use of your countertransference and projective identification! Refine Clinical Thinking Skills. Integrate an Anti-Oppression and Culturally Aware Approach into your couple therapy. These topics will be addressed as they arise organically in case presentations.
I want learning to be easy for you, or as challenging as you make it. There is no need to speak or show videotape, though that is welcome. Learning by watching/listening is fine.
The small group supervision format for three main reasons. It is an economical means of getting our specific professional needs met for our own growth in treating couples more effectively.
Please join William in applying and expanding your knowledge within a clinical case discussion.
