ACT/CBS Background and Training: I have been practicing ACT as my primary mode of clinical practice since 2005. In the past 20 years, I have attended numerous workshops with Steven Hayes, Kelly Wilson, Dennis Tirch, JoAnne Dahl, and numerous others. Currently, I am the director of clinical training for Kean University's Doctor of Psychology program in Combined School and Clinical Psychology, which highlights the utility of contextual behavioral science and incorporates ACT and RFT into the clinical training model.
