ACT/CBS Background and Training: I have found that using ACT in my therapy work makes a huge difference to my clients; it is great to see people move beyond the mental and emotional barriers to living the lives they want. I was a psychiatric nurse originally and then trained as a counsellor, graduating in 2000. I started meditating in 2005 and learnt about ACT therapy in 2009. I had quite an intensive training in ACT between 2009-2012 while working for Mark Webster, and this is my main approach to therapy since this time. I try to keep up to date by attending workshops and reading.
ACT/CBS Experience: 15 Years experience of delivering ACT in Individual therapy and Groups, as well as training professionals in ACT over the last 2 years
Additional Information: I apply ACT to my own life and have a daily meditation practice.
