ACT/CBS Background and Training: Over the last twenty five years I have attended workshops and training in the use of ACT to advanced level. I receive at least monthly supervision in the use of ACT. I have and continue to work effectively with some particularly complex cases using ACT these include clients with substance misuse and other addiction problems.
I am able to take on supervisees for training and supervision. I have previously completed training in CBT supervision and provide supervision to experienced and more novice therapists.

Additional Information: I have been actively involved as a committee member of the BABCP ACT SIG in the UK and intend to continue to do so in the future. It is my intention to continue promoting the training and use of ACT in the UK and increase the availability of effective ACT treatment and supervision to all who require it.
