ACT/CBS Background and Training: My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and the broader Contextual Behavioral Science (CBS) tradition, with a focus on psychological flexibility, values-based living, and the functional understanding of human suffering.

I have trained in ACT as part of my broader clinical development and have integrated its processes into my work across trauma, anxiety, and complex emotional presentations. My clinical background also includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Morita Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based approaches, which I integrate with ACT in a process-based and context-sensitive manner.

Alongside this, I have been developing a transcultural framework, PATH (Psychotherapy Anchored in Transcultural Harmony), which brings ACT into dialogue with Eastern philosophical traditions, including Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism. This integration supports a culturally attuned approach to acceptance, self, and meaning-making, particularly within Asian contexts.

My interest lies in experiencing ACT not only as a model of intervention, but as a way of being; supporting both practitioners and clients in cultivating presence, awareness, and alignment in the midst of complexity.
ACT/CBS Experience: I apply ACT across clinical practice, trauma-informed care, and real-world safety contexts, supporting both individuals and professionals working in high-stress environments.
Additional Information: My work sits at the intersection of psychotherapy, philosophy, and applied practice.

I have a particular interest in how ACT and CBS can be meaningfully adapted across cultures, especially within Asian contexts where concepts of self, suffering, and acceptance are shaped by longstanding philosophical traditions. Through the development of the PATH framework, I aim to contribute to a more culturally responsive and philosophically integrated approach to psychotherapy.

In addition to clinical work, I am involved in training, consultancy, and the development of trauma-informed practices within organisational settings. This includes supporting professionals working in high-stakes environments to engage with others in ways that are both psychologically grounded and humanly attuned.
