ACT/CBS Background and Training: I first began using ACT in 2003, and since that time I have attended various introductory and advanced ACT training workshops in Austraila.
I work in a generalist setting and use ACT with a wide range of presenting issues, including depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, eating disorders, personality disorders, and chronic pain.
I also lecture undergraduate and postgraduate courses in ACT at the University of Newcastle and run training workshops in ACT, functional analysis, and other applications of CBS principles to clinical work.
