ACT/CBS Background and Training: I received my clinical and research training from the PhD program in clinical psychology at the University of Nevada, Reno. My dissertation was an ACT treatment outcome study for women with body image dissatisfaction. I received my clinical training in ACT from Dr. Steve Hayes (on his clinical team for 4 years) and Dr. Victoria Follette (on her clinical team for 5 years). Currently I am a faculty member in the department of medicine, division of psychosocial medicine, at National Jewish Health.
